These terms and conditions apply to all transactions on the Du Veldt Interiors website. Before you place an order we kindly ask that you read through them, and if you have any questions please contact us. These terms and conditions are designed to clearly define our responsibilities and your rights. We reserve the right to modify these from time to time without notice to you, and any changes will apply to subsequent orders received.
A contract is formed between us and you when we have sent you an order confirmation email to the address you have given us, and we receive full settlement of your credit/debit card payment. Use of this website shall be governed by Scottish Law and will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Scottish courts. AvailabilityAll orders are accepted subject to availability. Great effort is made to ensure that items on the website are in stock at time of order, however if any item is not readily available to us, we will inform you as soon as possible and refund your credit or debit card the full sum paid by you if no suitable alternative is requested.Pricing and TaxEvery effort will be made to ensure the prices shown on our website are accurate at the time of order. If an error is discovered we will inform you as soon as possible, and offer you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. Prices are displayed in Pounds Sterling and are inclusive of VAT at the standard 15% rate, but exclude delivery charges. Delivery charges will be shown in the check out. VAT will be deducted from your final total on deliveries to countries outside of the European Union. Product DescriptionsCare has been taken to ensure that all product dimensions and descriptions are accurate. Please note that because of limitations of photographic processes and computer colour settings on your monitor the actual colours may vary slightly. Many of the products are handmade and the firing process of the pottery may produce variation in colour and crackle appearance which we think adds to the delightful, uniqueness of each individual piece.DeliveryUK Delivery Services and Charges Summary
Overseas Delivery: We do offer delivery to overseas destinations, For delivery charges, please contact us by email providing your full postal address and details of your order. We will get the best possible shipping price and inform you by email. If you are happy to proceed with your order, this shipping option will be added to the website so you can then go ahead and order online. Please note local import charges may be payable on receipt. All orders will be charged in British Pounds Sterling. For security reasons we do not deliver to PO Boxes. To track your order, please follow the instructions emailed to you upon despatch of your order. Whilst every effort will be made to deliver within the timeframes stated on our website, we will not be liable for any loss caused to you by late delivery or for late deliveries as a result of carrier actions which are beyond our control. We will make every attempt to deliver your goods as soon as possible or you may cancel your order, you will be refunded as soon as the goods are returned to us in good order or have been classified as lost by the courier. Cancellation & ReturnsUnder the distance selling regulations you have the right to cancel your order within seven working days of receipt of the goods. You do not need to give us any reason for cancellation. Where the order has already been despatched it must be returned to us in perfect condition, unused and in the original packaging to the address below within fourteen days. Du Veldt Interiors will not be responsible for postage or carriage of returned goods, and we would recommend insurance for expensive items and a registered post option as we cannot be responsible for returns that go missing in the post without proof of posting. On receipt of the goods as described, Du Veldt Interiors will credit the purchaser the full purchase price of the goods or exchange for another product. Many of our products have special custom made moulded packaging and have travelled long distances. We will issue you a returns reference number and instructions on how to return the goods to us.
